an update from Larissa :)

...I was just going through some old post's of friends and they made me smile all big and laugh to myself.

I can't believe that Purple Door is NEXT month...it baffles me. but not really. And this year...I am going WITH the boy who stole my heart there last year. GD is SO AMAZING!

I really think that a lot of people, teens, kids, even adults...just think that the Bible is boring and all about one thing. It really really isn't. there's Life, Drama, Sex, Death, Lies, Betrayal, Miracles...EVERYTHING. It's all there. an answer for everything. in ONE book. I forget that sometiems...when I'm going through something or if I'm absoloutly fine. To just go and chill somewhere and read. Read read read! it will get you through so much.

At one time this kid I knew said he didn't belive in GD because he only believes in thing's he can see and feel. But he believes in Love because you can feel that. I didn't know enough then...so I didn't really know what to say to him. it was about 4 and a half years ago. But when I think about it now...it really is so plain to see. and to say. GD IS love. He IS beauty. You can see Beauty all around. the trees the sky the birds. LIFE. and He IS LOVE! If you can feel Love and Peace and Joy...it's all GD! it's so simply complex. And that, yes, is an oxymoron...but true.
